Composed of twin sisters Lisa-Kaindé and Naomi Diaz, Ibeyi is a Franco-Cuban group, singing in English, French and Yoruban. They were recently featured in Beyonce's hit production, Lemonade!

As an introverted child captivated by images, Baghir took his camera everywhere, photographing everything that came into sight to create a personal photographic universe. Many of the images are blurred, often black-and-white. This is sure to be a great event!

Organized around the Getty Museum’s holdings and supplemented with important international loans, this exhibition highlights the work of four photographers who were integral to the development of paper photography: Édouard Baldus, Gustave Le Gray, Henri Le Secq, and Charles Nègre. July 9 - September 3, 2016 | Duncan Miller Gallery. According to the New York Times, "Édouard Boubat (1923-1999) was one of France's most celebrated postwar photographers." The photographs offered and on display at this exhibit are signed prints from the private collection of Bernard Boubat, the son of the artist. This is sure to be a phenomenal event.

Curator and writer Myriam Ben Salah’s residency at Fahrenheit will focus on her ongoing exploration of a new generation of artists who are mining the intersection of popular culture and identity politics to dismantle the distorted Western views of the Middle East and North Africa. The outcome of the residency will be an exhibition opening September 16 that aims to foster an alternative way of looking at art and culture from the Middle East and neighboring countries.
