Ambassador Delattre opens the exhibition Lost (in LA)
Today, Wednesday, November 28th, Mr. François Delattre, Ambassador of France to the United States, will attend the opening of the exhibition "Lost (in LA)", an exhibition which will be open to the public from December 1st, 2012, to January 27th, 2013, at the Barnsdall Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery.
Organized by FLAX Foundation (France Los Angeles Exchange), the exhibition is curated by Marc-Olivier Wahler, former Director of the Palais de Tokyo in Paris.
Lost (in LA) offers visitors a stunning visual and narrative experience, inspired by the famous television series "Lost", through the collboration of more than 20 French and American artists.
The opening of the exhibition Lost (in LA) also marks the start of the artistic exchange program "Ceci n’est pas... Art Between France and Los Angeles", an event initiated by the Cultural Services of the Embassy of France to the United States in collaboration with the Institut français and with the support of the Alliance française.
During five months, more than 30 collaborations between art centers, universities, galleries, art schools, institutions and places of contemporary art will be presented in Los Angeles.
