"Academic Research Career Opportunities in France" 2012 Workshop [fr]
The Office for Science and Technology at the Consulate General of France in Los Angeles and French Biobeach organized, on Wednesday, December 5th 2012, the “Academic Research Career Opportunities in France for Young Scientists” workshop for French and American postdoctoral researchers from South California wishing to work in France.

This workshop provided the postdoctoral researchers with the opportunity to gather practical and up-to-date information about the various research institutes and universities in France. Representatives from Inserm, Aviesan, CEA, CNRS, YEi and ANR took part in this event.
A QnA session, at the end of the morning conference, allowed all the participants to obtain further details about research opportunities in France. The French and American research systems were compared in order to highlight the assets of both countries in the field of scientific research.
