WWII Veterans Receive Legion of Honor in Arizona

On Sunday, June 16, Gerrit Steenblik, the honorary consul for Arizona, bestowed the Legion of Honor of the rank "Chevalier" (Knight) on three World War II US Army veterans: Marvin M. Poppe, Gerald M. Sherman, and James C. Sullivan. The Legion of Honor is the highest award France gives to its citizens and foreign nationals.
