33entrepreneurs at the Residence of France in Los Angeles
33entrepreneurs, a French start-up accelerator from Bordeaux, is finishing up its month-long tour of the United States. Its objective? To select the best and most promising wine, gastronomy, and tourism start-ups and give them the opportunity to expand internationally.
From the 8th of July to the 30th, 33entrepreneurs road-tripped across the United States, stopping in nine large cities in a bright blue bus, holding competitions to select finalists among 500 different projects.
The finalists will have the opportunity to pitch their start-up ideas to Bon Appétech in October in San Francisco and to Phocusright in November in Miami.
During its first tour, 33entrepreneurs found four start-ups and awarded them 15,000 euros each of investment, accommodations in Bordeaux, and support of more than fifty mentors ready to invest in these up-and-coming companies.
At its stop in Los Angeles on July 27th, 33entrepreneurs organized a pitching session in partnership with French Accelerator and the Consulat General in Los Angeles’ Office of Science and Technology, at the Consul General Christophe Lemoine’s residence in Beverly Hills. Here they selected three start-ups that will, without a doubt, be the focus of much attention in the coming months.
