April 7: Dr. Roger Wiens received French Academic Palms.

The award was presented by Consul General Christophe Lemoine at the Residence of France, in Beverly Hills. Pictures

April 10: Air Force Cold War, Lt Col Robert (Bob) Johnson received France’s highest honor.

The presentation was made by Mr. Christophe Lemoine, Consul General of France in Los Angeles, at a private ceremony on April 10th at Trinity Lutheran Church, 4783 W. 130th St, Hawthorne, CA 90250. Press Release - Biography Pictures.

April 11: Dr. Virendra Sarohia received French Academic Palms.

The award was presented by Jean-Yves Le Gall, President of the Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales (CNES). Remarks by Consul General Christophe Lemoine. The ceremony was held at Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena. Pictures.

April 20: WWII Veteran, Technical Sergeant Elmer J. Hess, to receive to receive France’s highest honor.
