Central City has established a Sister City relationship with Champagne-Vigny in 1988.
Champagne-Vigny is a small and charming village located in the South-West of France. Originally called “Champagne” (even if it is not specialized in producing champagne), “Champagne-Vigny” was given after the name of the French writer and poet Alfred de Vigny, who used to live a few kilometers from the village. You can still visit his beautiful house and take the opportunity to taste local specialties. Champagne-Vigny also has many classified monuments, in particular a church that was built in the 12th century.
