    Due to the ongoing evolution of the coronavirus (covid-19) situation, many countries around the world are deciding to implement restrictive entry measures into their territories. As of 23 March, we will be cancelling a significant portion of our flight schedule worldwide.

    France suspends visa application process starting March 17th

    Due to Coronavirus COVID-19, the borders at the entry of the European Union and Schengen area are closed. Therefore, the French consular services in the United States have received instructions to stop issuing visas until further notice. All pending applications will not be processed. All passports will be sent back to VFS Global. VFS Global will no longer accept visa applications.

    Given the situation of unprecedented gravity created by the coronavirus crisis, the President of the French Republic has announced very strong measures, which involve a drastic reduction of movements for us all, in France, in Europe and internationally. He therefore announced the closure of the external borders of the European space for 30 days from 17 March.

    Message from the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs to all French citizens abroad

    he President of the French Republic addressed the French people tonight. He said that entrance via the external borders of the European Union and the Schengen Area will close at 12 noon CET on Tuesday, 17 March, for 30 days.
