    Le pianiste français Erik Berchot a, tout au long de sa carrière, été un proche collaborateur de Michel Legrand ainsi que de Charles Aznavour qu’il a suivi sur scène pendant plus de 15 ans jusqu’à sa disparition. Ne ratez pas le concert hommage qu’il rendra au compositeur et pianiste virtuose Frédéric Chopin, à l’auteur-compositeur-interprète Charles Aznavour, ainsi qu’au musicien, compositeur, pianiste de jazz, chanteur et arrangeur français Michel Legrand !

  • [Jusqu’au 15 mars] Blum & Poe : "New Images of Man" - Los Angeles

    Blum & Poe’s February exhibit, "New Images of Man," revisits a MoMA original show from the ’50s that brought together European and American artists, including César and Dubuffet, whose work grappled with the human condition and representation in the wake of the Second World War. This new show expands the 1959’s show vision to include more geographic and gender diversity as well as contemporary artists.

  • [Fev 29] Reverso on Tour - Denver, CO

    Reverso is a transatlantic group of jazz and classical musicians known for their incredible ability to improvise when performing. They are going on tour to promote their second album, "The Melodic Line." The record is inspired by the Années Folles in Paris, as well as the Groupe des Six, a collective of six revolutionary composers who operated out of Montparnasse during this era.

  • [Fev 12 - Mars 23] Please Do Not Enter : "Inappropriate Thoughts" - Los Angeles

    An exhibition of Ghyslan Bertholon’s taxidermy sculptures, as well as sculptures by Nicholas Rubinstein, will be hosted by Please Do Not Enter at the NoMad Hotel in Downtown LA. Bertholon’s works, which represent the effects of human ecological domination, are both comical and profoundly thought-provoking at the same time.

  • [Fev 11] Sprüth Magers : Cyprien Gaillard - Los Angeles

    Cyprien Gaillard will be presenting work that plays on the intersection between urban industrialism and prehistoric matter at Sprüth Magers. His photography, sculpture, and new film, “Ocean II Ocean,” will show the cyclical nature of this interaction. Gaillard is a Parisian-born artist who now works out of Berlin and New York City.

  • [Fev 9] Monday Evening Concerts : John Cage and Yves Klein - Los Angeles

    Monday Evening Concerts is collaborating with LAXART Gallery in Hollywood to present two of the 20th century’s great philosophical works. The program includes Yves Klein’s Monotone Symphony (twenty minutes of a single chord followed by twenty minutes of silence) and John Cage’s Speech, of five radios and newsreader. This concert is free and open to the public.

  • [Fev 9] Le Salon de Musiques : "Winter Journey" - Los Angeles

    In celebration of their tenth anniversary, Le Salon de Musiques, a small chamber music group who presents classic, intimate concerts, is performing "Winter Journey." The concert, including both voice and piano, will feature music by Austrian master composer Franz Schubert. It will be performed by Ben Lowe & Francois Chouchan with special guest Zachary Deak. The concert will be followed by a Q & A between the audience and the artists.
