Mr. François Delattre will then meet the editorial board of the Los Angeles Times and will tackle current international questions as well as the French–American relationship.

During the afternoon, after a visit of the City Hall and discussions with several City Council members, he will meet with Mr. Lucian Grainge, CEO of Universal Music Group, and engage in a conversation about the entertainment industry. UMG, Vivendi’s subsidiary company, is the world’s number one music company. Under the direction of Lucian Grainge, the group focuses on new digital distribution channels, on the sale of music through partnerships with brands and on placing music in commercials.

Mr. François Delattre will then be meeting with French entrepreneurs located in California during a CCEF (French foreign trade advisors) assembly. Chaired by Jack Oiknine, this organization is a "club" of French business men and women in the second biggest city of the United States.

This second day in Los Angeles will end by a reception with representatives of the French community and eminent people of Southern California.
